Hear Lil West’s new motivational banger “No L’s”
The Delaware rapper recruited Yung Bans for his latest single.
It's been about 18 months since Delaware's Lil West dropped LW17, the 11-track tape that served as a primer for how well-rounded he is in terms of his musical palette. The project featured attempts at pop, songs with mind-twisting vocal effects, and traditional trap bangers. On March 15th, West will follow that up with VEX, an EP produced entirely by take a daytrip. Today on FADER, we're premiering the project's lead single "No L's" which features Yung Bans.
The track is an easygoing bop, mostly centered around West bigging up his own ability to come out of every situation victorious. Yung Bans lends a verse filled with silky, lullaby-like harmonies. "This one of them motivational songs, all my L’s are lessons learned," Lil West explained over email. "When you come up on some good luck this gotta be yo anthem!" Listen to the song below.
