Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” hits number one
Months after the movie was released, the A Star Is Born theme has reached the top of the charts.
Six months after Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper released "Shallow," the duo have now claimed the number one song in the country. The A Star Is Born theme hit the new peak after nabbing the Oscar for Best Original Song a few weeks back. As Billboard reports, the last Best Original Song to claim this feat was Eminem's "Lose Yourself" back in 2002.
The achievement arrives after a heavy week of campaigning from Little Monsters, some of whom fabricated a Starbucks promotion in an effort to gain streams. "Shallow" is Gaga's fourth number one, and her first since 2011's "Born This Way."
