Ariana Grande’s thank u, next breaks Spotify streaming record with 2 billion streams

Ariana Grande has broken yet another streaming record, with her last album thank u, next hitting the 2 billion stream mark on Spotify. With the album's first single "thank u, next" having broken records of its own, hitting 100 million streams in just 11 days back in November, it should come as no surprise that the pop star continues to break and set new records. The release of her single "7 Rings" also saw her break several records back in January, including the 24-hour streaming record she previously held with "thank u, next", as well as the Spotify weekly global streaming record.

Thanks to her latest feat, Grande is now the first and only woman to have three albums - thank u, next, Sweetener and Dangerous Woman - all surpass 2 billlion streams on the platform.
