A drone dropped swastika flyers onto fans outside an Ariana Grande show
Anti-press leaflets were released by drone over Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center on Friday, where fans were gathered waiting for Grande’s ’Sweetener’ tour stop to begin.
Anti-media leaflets emblazoned with swastikas were dropped over fans waiting for an Ariana Grande concert in Sacramento, CA on Friday, Buzzfeed News reports. The flyers were released via aerial drone, according to the Sacramento State University paper. By the paper's estimate, there were some "hundreds" of fans waiting beneath the flyer drop.
The flyers were printed with phrases like "STOP THE PRESS" and "Who's Side Are You On," (sic) and had "Tracy Mapes 2018" printed in one corner. Mapes, a 57-year-old Sacramento man, has been arrested for dropping flyers over two NFL games in the past.
Friday's show was one of many stops on Grande's Sweetener world tour. Last month, Grande headlined Coachella, and was joined onstage by Justin Bieber, NSYNC, P Diddy, Nicki Minaj and Mase.
