Forget about chasing clout and watch Jimothy’s “Getting Talkative” video instead

Jimothy videos are always an experience and "Getting Talkative," the British artist's first song of 2019, is no different. Mini Jimothy characters pop up in bathroom cabinets and on stair cases as he gives himself a pep talk about letting go of life's major stresses.

Over a UKG-influenced beat, Jimothy tells himself (and, in turn, the listener) to forget about money, power, and influence and, instead, focus on love. It's a slightly more serious side to Jimothy but "Getting Talkative" retains his sense of fun alongside his meaningful message.

"My new single is about fighting stress and how, if a friend or a partner becomes obsessive, you've gotta let them go," Jimothy says via email. "I made this one with Toddla T and Harley & Ferg. The video is basically me talking about stress, analysing stress, and talking to myself to remind myself to be careful."
