Drake will drop two new songs to celebrate Toronto Raptors’ NBA Finals success
“Omertá” and Rick Ross collaboration “Money In The Grave” are due on Friday.
Toronto Raptors have won this year's NBA Finals and their biggest fan, Drake, is set to release two new songs on Friday in celebration. Drake announced the news that he will release "Omertá" and Rick Ross collaboration "Money In The Grave" moments after the Raptors beat Golden State Warriors to take the 2019 title by 4 games to 2.
In a post-game interview on Thursday, Drake praised the Raptors. “We did this off of heart. We did this off of love,” he said. “We willed this into existence. We manifested this. I told you the first time. People like to make memes—make another meme out of this. It’s beautiful.”
Drake has played a vocal part in the Raptors-Warriors series, making his presence known at a number of the games. He enjoyed a light-hearted run-in with Steph Curry and Draymond Green, and paid tribute to Kevin Durant during his injury struggles. Golden State came back at him, playing Pusha T diss track "The Story Of Adidon" before Game 3, only to lose the tie. At one point it was reported that Drake's behavior had led to an official warning from the NBA.
