Watch Madonna’s graphic, violent “God Control” video
Madonna’s disturbing new video features a Pulse nightclub-style shooting.
Madonna has released a long, disturbing video for her Madame X single "God Control." As one can glean from the title, the song is an anti-gun protest track; its video depicts a violent shooting at a nightclub reminiscent of the Pulse nightclub shooting. Directed by frequent Madonna collaborator Jonas Akerlund, the 9-minute clip features Madonna as both a nightclub patron and some kind of gun control lobbyist writing an anti-gun speech. Watch the video above; note that the clip does include extreme violence and may be disturbing to some viewers.
Madonna recently released her new album Madame X, which features collaborations with Swae Lee, Maluma, Anitta, and Quavo.
