Dave Chappelle lands his debut Billboard appearance
Sticks and Stones earns the comedian his first appearance on the charts.
Dave Chappelle’s recent stand-up special, Sticks and Stones, released on Netflix this past August, has made its debut on the Billboard comedy chart, landing at the No. 4 spot. This marks the first time Chappelle has made an appearance on a Billboard chart, which started publishing a comedy section in 2004. Sticks and Stones has faced backlash for comments made towards Wade Robson and James Safechuck, the Michael Jackson accusers. The comedic veteran can add this accolade to his list of hardware, that includes two Emmys, two Grammys, and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
