Kanye West’s application to trademark Sunday Service has been rejected
Because someone else claimed it first.
Remember how Kanye West tried to trademark "Sunday Service" back in July? The operative word here is "tried," because the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has officially put the kibosh on Kanye's big plan, as someone else has allegedly already claimed it — perhaps the Jesus that he says is king. The "Sunday Service" patent was tentatively going to cover a line of biblical garments including, but not limited to, "bottoms, dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks, and tops." Kanye's new album is due to officially drop on Friday, October 25.
