Jadakiss wistfully recalls beefing with 50 Cent

Jadakiss fondly recalled his beef with 50 Cent in the mid 00’s during a radio interview with Real 92.3, Complex notes. The feud initially began after Jadakiss contributed a verse on Ja Rule’s “New York” in 2004, while Ja was himself beefing with 50 Cent. “I made a lot of money off the 50 thing. It was a different era. ‘Checkmate’ [his 50 Cent diss track] actually charted on Billboards,” Jadakiss said in the interview. “I was going on tour off that… The whole 50 thing was good for me...The Fif thing was beautiful. He was selling that next album.”
