Melbourne-based producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Fractures has made his mark on indie electronic music over the past few years, winning fans in Gotye and Chet Faker and receiving an unprecedented amount of streams for singles “Twisted,” “Cadence,” “Sculptures” and more. It’s been a minute since his last music — his Reset EP was released earlier this year — but with the release of this month’s “Chains,” a collaboration with Rozes, the producer seems to be back and firing on all cylinders.

Today, he’s sharing with us a CURRENT MOOD playlist centred on the theme of Machine Music. “I gravitated towards electronic music, and had a spike in my listening of it at least, after a particularly transcendental day/night(take the hint) having listened to it exclusively,” Fractures tells The FADER of the playlist via email. “No doubt it has influenced my music from there on, hopefully for the better.” Listen to Machine Music above.
