Kali Uchis shares new song “Solita”
It’s her first solo song since 2018.
Kali Uchis shared her sophomore album Isolation in 2018, and since then the Columbian-American artist has played Coachella without a guitarist, covered Kanye West's "Paranoid" and Björk’s “Venus As A Boy,” and guested on "Time" by The Free Nationals, also featuring the late Mac Miller. Today, Kali Uchis returns with a new solo track called “Solita,” a Latin trap-influenced slow burn produced by Tainy.
“I’d rather dance alone than with the devil," Kali Uchis said in a press statement. "This song is about healing, freedom and embracing the mixed emotions that come with that. I hope my fans feel sexy when they listen to it. I’m so excited to share more.”
