Kanye West and Joel Osteen reportedly going on a Sunday Service tour
The pair will reportedly bring West’s music and Osteen’s sermon across the country.
After the success of Kanye West's Sunday Service at Joel Osteen's Lakwood megachurch in Houston last month, TMZ reports the pair is taking the show on the road.
With a Sunday Service set to come to Yankee Stadium next May for Osteen's "America’s Night of Hope” event, sources told the publication that West and Osteen have been discussing how to further expand on the Houston service, possibly into a stadium tour.
This isn't that much unlike the current iteration of Sunday Service, which has popped up in cities all across the country as well as international locations like Kingston, Jamaica. This time, however, West would be responsible for the music while Osteen would deliver a sermon. Sources added that upcoming cities would include West's hometown of Chicago, Miami, Detroit, and Los Angeles—where a likely venue may be Dodgers Stadium.
Considering how quickly the previous Sunday Service events have sold out or filled up paired with Osteen's own crowd-drawing abilities, it could be a lucrative move.
