EMI reopens long-running Kanye West lawsuit

TMZ has confirmed that publishing juggernaut EMI has reopened its lawsuit against Kanye West, despite reports to the contrary earlier this year. The legal battle began in January when West claimed that EMI had unfairly kept him in his contract; later that year, the publisher countersued West claiming he had no right to request freedom from said contract.
