The remaining members of Nirvana reunited at a recent benefit concert, taking the stage for a five-song performance at the “Heaven is Rock & Roll Gala” in Los Angeles.
Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear were joined by Beck, St. Vincent and Grohl's daughter Violet—who all took turns singing lead vocals on some of the band's most iconic songs, including "Lithium," "In Bloom," "Been a Son," and "Heart-Shaped Box." Beck also sang lead vocals for a cover of David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold the World."
The proceeds of the gala went to The Art of Elysium, an organization that "[pairs] volunteer artists with communities in Los Angeles to support individuals in the midst of difficult emotional life challenges like illness, hospitalization, displacement, confinement, and/or crisis," according to their official website.
