Moses Sumney shares new song “Me in 20 Years”
Taken from the forthoming album græ.
Imagining yourself in two decades time (it'll be 2040!) is an overwhelming task but one that Moses Sumney is tackling on his brooding and atmospheric new song. "Me In 20 Years" is the latest release from Sumney's new album græ, due later this year. Sumney asks himself many questions as the music creeps around him, including: "Do you still hoard souvenirs, And make them mirrors, Of sentimental veneer?"
græ will be split in two parts, with one half due in February and the second in May, and arrives via Jagjaguwar. Last year Sumney dropped lead single "Virile." græ is the follow-up to Sumney's 2017 debut Aromanticism. The 20-track album is described in a press release as "a conceptual patchwork about greyness."
