Joji wants to break out in his “Run” video
A stretch limousine can’t contain the R&B singer as he makes a rock-centric return.
Anyone that has seen the Robert Pattinson movie Cosmpolis will likely enjoy Joji "Run" video. That 2012 movie came out after Twilight but before Pattinson became the A24 merch bro hero he is today, but is worth catching if only to get a feel for how weirdly claustrophobic the back of a limo can really be. Joji is handed a similar fate in the visuals for his icy and distorted new song. He stumbles through an assault course of booze, sycophants, and hot tubs as he looks to escape the shiny prison of his existence. Check it out above.
"Run" is Joji's second new song since his debut album Ballads 1 dropped in 2018, last year he released "Sanctuary." The album went to No.3 on the Billboard chart and featured the breakout single "Slow Dancing In The Dark." Joji will perform at Coachella in April. The annual festival takes place across two weekends in April and will be headlined by Frank Ocean, Rage Against The Machine, and Travis Scott.
