Watch the apocalyptic video for Orion Sun’s “Coffee for Dinner”
Listen to a weathered new ballad from Philly-via-New Jersey producer.
Apocalypse is weighing on the zoomer consciousness lately, with climate change wreaking havoc in every corner of the world. Fittingly, the new video from Philly-via-New Jersey singer-songwriter and producer Orion Sun depicts a weathered, beautiful landscape that’s been ravaged by the end of days. A visual accompaniment to the dry, King Krule-like ballad “Coffee For Dinner,” it manages to suffuse a haunting concept with a unique kind of beauty. The second single from the debut Orion Sun record Hold Space For Me, out March 27 on Mom + Pop, “Coffee For Dinner” is described by the artist as a song about “breaking through all the noise, all of the societal pressures of what I should be doing at this age.” Watch “Coffee For Dinner” above and find Orion Sun’s tour dates below.
