With her creative agency Saint Heron, Solange has shared that she will be collaborating with The School of Fashion, one of five innovative academic schools within The New School’s Parsons School of Design, for an immersive virtual festival titled Here and Now. According to a press release, the virtual experience's objective is to celebrate the thesis and capstone work from the Class of 2020. As learning institutions across the country continue to search for ways to deal with Covid-19, this will be an opportunity to take the experience online, while students have the reach of Solange and Saint Heron's audience in front of them.

Students will be able to narrate their journeys through school and the stories behind their exiting projects. The festival will also feature Metonymy, a 3D installation created in collaboration with artist Jacolby Satterwhite (who is responsible for Solange's 3D "Sound of Rain" video), Saint Heron’s creative team, and over 300 graduating students from the School of Fashion at Parsons. The Saint Heron team also issued an official statement regarding the event:

“The Saint Heron team is honored to partner with The School of Fashion to celebrate and uplift the dedicated work of the graduating class of 2020 by presenting, Here and Now. We look forward to working with the students over the coming weeks and helping bring attention to their hard work and unique perspective. As the world confronts the challenges of our current global crisis, fashion and design communities must embrace new ways to pause, evolve, and adapt. These challenges open up opportunities to expand growth in our creativity and innovation — two expressions at the core of Saint Heron as well as Parsons’ students.”
