Kaytranada, Jessie Reyez, and Lido Pimienta lead Polaris Prize 2020 nominees
Albums from Caribou and U.S Girls also appear on shortlist for Canadian album award.
The final list of nominees for the 2020 Polaris Music Prize Short List has been confirmed. The winner of the annual prize, which is handed to the year's best Canadian album, will receive $50,000 CAD.

This year's Polaris Music Prize ceremony will be held virtually with a “cinematic tribute” set for October 19. Last year’s Polaris Prize was awarded to Toronto rapper Haviah Mighty and her album 13th Floor.
