Rihanna “healing quickly” after flipping over on electric scooter
The singer and business mogul was spotted with a bruised face over the weekend.
Rihanna is recovering from injuries sustained while riding an electric scooter, a representative for the artist has confirmed. TMZ first reported on the incident, sharing pictures of Rihanna looking bruised while leaving Santa Monica restaurant Giorgio Baldi on Friday, September 4.
A representative confirmed to People that Rihanna was hurt but is on the mend. "Rihanna is completely fine now but flipped over on an electric scooter last week and bruised her forehead and face," the rep said. "Luckily there were no major injuries and she is healing quickly."
Earlier this year Rihanna donated $5M to Covid-19 relief efforts through her Clara Lionel Foundation. Meanwhile, she has confirmed that she is still working on her ninth studio album, which will be her first since Anti dropped in 2016. Fans were given a crumb of new Rih music this summer when PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped "Believe It," featuring her vocals.
