Megan Thee Stallion shares BTS “Butter” remix
Earlier this week it was revealed that Megan’s label attempted to block the release of the track.
BTS and Megan Thee Stallion's “Butter” remix has arrived on streaming platforms, just days after it was revealed that the Houston rapper's label had tried to block the release of the track. Check it out below.
On August 24, Megan filed a legal claim stating that her label 1501 Complete Entertainment and its CEO Carl Crawford were stopping her from releasing the remix and stalling her career in the process. A court judge in Harris County, Texas ruled in Megan's favor, paving the way for today's release.
Megan has previously engaged in a legal disagreement with 1501 when she sued the label in 2020 for allegedly preventing her from releasing her EP Suga. She was granted a temporary restraining order in that instance.
"Butter" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release in May. The K-pop group followed it with "Permission To Dance" in TK. Megan dropped her single "Thot Shit" in June and has recently shared a series of freestyles.
