Pavement announce first North American tour since 2010
The indie band have announced a raft of live dates set to begin next year.
Pavement have confirmed details of their first headline North American tour in over a decade. The band, fronted by Stephen Malkmus, previously revealed plans to tour Europe in 2022 including an appearance at Spanish festival Primavera Sound.
The U.S. and Canada reunions shows begin in September next year and include multi-night runs in Atlanta, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Tickets are on-sale Friday, November 5. See below for the full schedule.
Pavement separated in 1999 before returning in 2010 to play a series of benefit shows in New York’s Central Park as well as a run of festivals. That same year they released best of compilation Quarantine The Past while in 2015 brought rarities collection A Secret History, Vol 1 plus deluxe editions of the band’s first four studio albums; Slanted And Enchanted, Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain, Wowee Zowee, and Brighten The Corners.
