Post Malone and The Weeknd fight it out in the “One Right Now” video
The pop stars get into a bloody shootout for the Tanu Muino-directed video.
Post Malone and The Weeknd are two of the biggest pop stars in the world right now, both having channelled their respective angsty and drug-addled sing-raps to massive success. On the heels of their collaborative single "One Right Now" comes the song's visuals, out on Monday.
The video's treatment is Scarface-meets-John Wick: each artist is a gun-toting assassin (with Abel Tesfaye doing the full Tony Montana-arm-in-a-sling look) who pursues the other while mowing down hoards of imposters. Near the beginning of the video, Post Malone appears to purchase one of those cartoon ape NFTs, then goes on to slaughter a bunch of people with a massive shotgun.
Both Post Malone and The Weeknd have new albums in the works and coming soon. "Take My Breath," the latest solo single from The Weeknd, was released in August. Recently, he has teamed up with Rosalía for "La Fama," and appeared on the Swedish House Mafia single "Moth to A Flame."
