Kanye West announces Donda 2 with executive producer Future, shares release date

Kanye West (now legally known as "Ye") has announced the release date for his upcoming album Donda 2, as Pitchfork points out. The follow-up to his Album of the Year-nominated project is slated to be released on February 22, and will be executive produced by Future. See the post below. Donda was released on August 29, 2021 after multiple delays, so we'll see in a month if the sequel fares any better.

Production on Donda 2 was first reported in early January. Since then, West has appeared on the song "Eazy" by L.A. rapper The Game. In December, he made amends with frenemy Drake for the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert.
