Harry Styles shares new song/video “As It Was”
His new album Harry’s House is out on May 20.
Harry Styles has shared his new single "As It Was," the first from his upcoming third studio album Harry's House, out on May 20. The song is a wistful but upbeat jam that comes with a video that finds Styles impeccably dressed in a series of successively scantier bright red outfits on what appears to be a very cold day.
Harry's House takes its title after the 1974 Joni Mitchell song "Harry's House / Centerpiece." Soon after the album's announcement, Mitchell's official Twitter account tweeted its blessing.
The new project will arrive three years after his sophomore LP Fine Line. That album contained the hits "Watermelon Sugar" and "Adore You." "Watermelon Sugar" received the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance and was nominated for Best Music Video ("Adore You") and Best Pop Vocal Album.
In April, Styles will headline the Coachella Music Festival with Kanye West and Billie Eilish.
