Kevin Abstract begins post-Brockhampton era on Easy Life’s “Dear Miss Holloway”
The song will appear on the U.K. group’s new album Maybe In Another Life.
U.K. band Easy Life have shared new song "Dear Miss Holloway." The track features Kevin Abstract in his first guest appearance since Brockhampton played their final shows at Coachella before going on hiatus. "Dear Miss Holloway" will feature on Easy Life's forthcoming second album Maybe In Another Life, due August 12. Check it out below.
In a statement, Murray Matravers of Easy Life describes the new single as "the cornerstone of the second easy life album," adding: “Kevin raps about expectations versus reality, choice and regret. Thematically, 'Dear Miss Holloway' opened up this whole world, and the desire for us as a band to create a world that was better than the one we inhabited at the time."
Maybe In Another Life will be the follow-up to Easy Life's 2021 debut Life's A Beach. The album also features the recent single "Beeswax" and will be accompanied by a busy summer of festival dates, including appearances at Glastonbury and Summersonic in Japan.
During Brockhampton's final shows the group announced details of a final album, to be released later this year. A trailer for the upcoming project was released in April.
