Alex G shares “Cross The Sea”
Another preview of God Save The Animals, due in September.
Alex G has shared new single "Cross the Sea," the latest release from his forthcoming ninth studio album God Save the Animals. The album, due out September 23, also features the previously released "Runner" and "Blessing." "Cross The Sea" once again finds the singer-songwriter leaning on his faith while retaining his uniquely charming lo-fi sound. Check out a video by the artist Elliot Bech for the song below.
God Save The Animals is the first Alex G solo album since 2019's House of Sugar. Earlier this year he scored indie horror film We're All Going to the World's Fair.
Later this year Alex G will embark on a headline North American tour, with support from Hatchie, Sadurn, and Barrie. The tour includes a show at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern and multiple nights at Brooklyn Steel in New York. See the full schedule below.
