Rod Wave has the No.1 album in the country

Rod Wave has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart with new album Beautiful Mind. The album, released August 12, features the singles "Cold December," "Stone Rolling," and "Alone." It is his second No.1 album after 2021's SoulFly.

Beautiful Mind sold 115,000 equivalent album according to Billboard. This figure was made up primarly of streams with tracks from the album being played 157.73 million times in the week ending August 18.

Rod Wave finished ahead of albums by Bad Bunny (Un Verano Sin Ti) and Beyoncé (Renaissance). Megan Thee Stallion debuted at No.4 with her Traumazine project. The Houston rapper's latest effort was a surprise release, announced mere days before its release, and earned 63,000 equivalent album units.
