Beyoncé drops “Summer Renaissance” video as part of Tiffany & Co. ad campaign
Watch the Studio 54-style visuals for the Renaissance song
Beyoncé has kept fans waiting an unusually long time for a visual accompaniment to her 2022 album Renaissance. The two month gap between the album arriving and some kind of video has ended today with a suitably stylish and dancefloor-orientated video for “Summer Renaissance” dropping on Monday. The clip was directed by Mark Romanek and is described as a “brand campaign anthem film” for Tiffany & Co.’s “Lose Yourself in Love” campaign. Check it out above.
The Hollywood Reporter notes that Beyoncé’s longtime stylist, Marni Senofonte, alongside Vogue Italia editor-at-large Patti Wilson, styled the new video. Fatima Robinson, whose work includes Pharrell Williams’s “Happy,” was the choreographer. Beyoncé has worked with Tiffany & Co. in the past, releasing a cover of "Moon River" as part of a 2021 campaign.
Since dropping Renaissance in July, Beyoncé has collaborated with The Isely Brothers and edited album track "Heated" following complaints from fans over ableist language used in the lyrics.
