Caroline Polachek releases new single “Dang”
Polachek debuted the song with a TED Talk-style performance on Colbert.
Caroline Polachek has shared “Dang”, her first new music since she released her latest solo album, Desire, I Want To Turn Into You, earlier this year. The song was produced by Polachek and Cecile Believe with additional production by Danny L Harle. Check out the studio version below.
On Tuesday night Polachek was the musical guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert where she performed "Dang" for the first time. She presented the song in the style of a lecture or TED Talk, complete with a screen providing illustrations of the lyrics.
Last week Polachek was a guest on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, performing stripped-down versions of “Pretty In Possible,” “Blood And Butter,” “Sunset,” and “I Believe” from Desire, I Want To Turn Into You.
Desire, I Want To Turn Into You was released in February. This summer Polachek joined the 1975 on stage in Ireland and also dropped three "Bunny Is A Rider" remixes, including one from Doss.
