Lucky Daye shares “That’s You,” co-written with Bruno Mars
The R&B artist returns with his first new music of the year.
Lucky Daye has dropped a new song titled "That’s You." The R&B artist co-wrote and co-produced the track with Bruno Mars. Check it out below.
"That's You" comes with a devilish new video that follows Daye as he seduces women and sacrifices them for another woman who has a cult-like hold over him. The supernatural video might be a day late for Halloween but it's keeping the spooky vibes going, regardless.
In a statement, Daye said: "I sang my heart out on ‘That's You.’ I felt like I was on the moon. I want people to think about that one person they just can't be without when they listen. Hopefully that person is a good person."
"That's You" arrives almost a year after Daye dropped his 2022 album Candydrip, which arrives last December and went on to pick up a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album. Since then he has collaborated with Victoria Monet, joining her on her Jaguar II single "Smoke."
