When We Were Young Fest announces 2024 line-up
My Chemical Romance will headline with a performance of Welcome to the Black Parade in its entirety.
When We Were Young Festival is back for 2024 with a set of headliners that’ll be irresistible to former scene queens, indie sleaze enthusiasts, and aughties Myspace users.
On Monday, event organizers announced that WWWY would be returning for its third year at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024. And just to make things feel even more nostalgic, almost every band is set to recreate the original listening experience by performing the entirety of their biggest album, front to back.
The only exception is headliner, Fall Out Boy, who’ll presumably go for a medley of greatest hits. However, fellow headliners My Chemical Romance have promised to perform their iconic 2006 album, Welcome to the Black Parade.
In addition to Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, WWWY will also include Jimmy Eat World playing Bleed American, Chiodos reuniting for All’s Well That Ends Well, Dashboard Confessional performing Dusk and Summer, 3OH!3 doing Want, Pierce the Veil with Collide With the Sky, and Cobra Starship making a comeback with ¡Viva la Cobra!, plus many more.
Eager fans are encouraged to sign up for early access codes via the official WWWY website to access the pre-sale, which starts on Friday, November 17 at 10 a.m. PST. All remaining tickets will then go on sale to the general public starting at 2 p.m. PST.
