From what we've heard about Cohen's new film Bruno, he takes his comedic roles very, very seriously, so it would make sense if he'd decided to create a parody of a somewhat pompous R&B producer that he would then develop an entire persona and fake career around that character, including elaborate 1940's-themed video remixes starring Tyson Beckford of his singles . What wouldn't make sense, however, would be his ability to suddenly make good music, having been previously known only as a comedian. But, as they say, genius transcends.
