Just when there seemed to be a dearth of windy pop music coming from Gothenberg right now (apparently everyone is on vacation or working on their gardens and/or next projects), The Crepes drop this power-chilling heatrock on the tail end of summertime to soundtrack our boats riding off into the sunset. The newish group consists of The Embassy's Fredrik Lindson and Studio's Dan Lissvik, so even though it's an acoustic beach-bonfire track stripped of the electronic factors in their other projects, the harmonies are still as infectious and yearny as 98 degree weather and a Fanta. They released this as a 12" but it sold out in three days, which may speak to some kind of zeitgeist.
