Last night, before the storm, we danced. It was something of a family affair at Williamsburg's lovely and spacious Brooklyn Bowl, as Restless People and MNDR played our monthly installment of FADER Bowl. First, MNDR mesmerized with her buoyant synth pop and effervescent voice, a screen of digital animation casting a glow on her completely amazing crystal necklace. Earlier in the day, Jesse Cohen of Restless People joking twitted us that we should "expect 'if the New Radicals were raised on only Nelly Furtado, Style Council, and UK Funky.'" It sounds crazy but that's exactly what it was—amazing, rhythmic joy. Meanwhile, Diesel laced people with free t-shirts, and everyone wearing one got to bowl for free, along with complimentary pitchers of beer at the lanes, 400 free drink tix, and prizes for best form, highest team score, lowest individual score, highest individual score, with prizes included FlipCams so people could keep their memories FOREVER. It was wild! Check for more photos after the jump.
