Seen lots of remixes of this Delphic track but there's always been something a little too precious about them, perhaps because we weren't completely sold on the original's sweetness to begin with. Leave it to L-Vis 1990 to uplift the sing-y part with a trigger-finger on the phase shifter, then turning things completely evil with a donk-heavy pulsating synth and his signature nasty bass drop-out. There's very slight shades of "United Groove," for sure, but last time we checked we had listened to that song 463 times in our iTunes. And it's like he's giving the lyrics—Give me something I can believe in, in Halcyon—a proper response: the only thing you can believe in, Delphic dude, is the dancefloor. WORD IS BOND.
