Giggs: The great European hope for Southern rap dominance. Usually integrating American and British forms of music is a tenuous experiment, but new XL signee Giggs has slowed himself down considerably from his grime contemporaries to affect a cockney take on ATL drawl. For this track, his first official single, he's linked with B.O.B. (who he lets appear both first on the track and in the video—peculiar for your first real spotlight). The stark video is directed by Adam Powell and was, appropriately and best-of-both-worlds style, filmed in both Atlanta and Peckham. We know we're a (tiny) bit late on this one, but check the video and keep Giggs on your mind as, whatever happens, it'll be curious.
