In a timely coincidence, James Blake, half-subject of this week's Slept On, appeared on Gilles Peterson's radio show last night. Blake showcased the diversity of his output and interest, playing a piano improvisation he recorded as part of a school project and with a mix that included Otis Redding and Joanna Newsom. The set also includes a new track from Blake, "I Only Know What I Know I Know." BBC is streaming the entire show—including some new music from funky maestro Donae'o—but skip to 27 minutes in to hear Blake's Kelis and Aaliyah-sampling "CMYK" beginning the set and interview.
