The text over at the Actual Pain site makes it seem like Mississippi swamp rocker Flight just got so inspired that he made a mixtape and had to send it somewhere as soon as possible. Whatever the case may be, there is plenty to enjoy here. Especially Flight's own "Johnny's Chopped and Screwed" which sounds like the Swamp Thing on codeine playing the guitar with his/its fists. It also retains Flight's signature, which is basically burying everything under miles of muck while retaining some of the most anthemic choruses we've heard in a long while.
