The first thing Kid Cudi says on this song is "I am your big brother," which we're going to take, probably incorrectly, as a Big Brother and the Holding Company reference. "REFOFEV"—"revolution of evolution"—the first leak from Cudi's upcoming second album, has got the post ragtime hippie piano and stoned guitar. Cudi's been out in Hawaii awhile and apparently all the Maui Wowie been going to his head; he's not rapping so much as wandering through a drug haze saying stuff. Shout to guru producer Plain Pat at the boards for this one.
