It's about time to start searching for that last-minute boo for fall, and Kirby Maurier makes a great point: if you're going to be running home to one person all winter, they better bring the heat. True to her point, this song screams summer club banger—nimble pop synths, humid hand claps—but then Maurier comes from Miami, so that might have something to do with it. Whatever, we're going to take this track (and all our white clothes) and stay shaking something into the next season.
This week, we'll be hosting posts from Suite903, the FADER's source for the vast, varied world of soul. Starting next week, Suite903 will become a weekly column on TheFADER.com, combining the latest music, news, interviews and podcasts based on the acclaimed, decade-long Suite903 mixtape series. Stay tuned!
