Did AC Slater fall in love or get a massage or something? "Calm Down Part 3" is the sound of the bassmaster swimming in the most serene waters of dubstep, a crazily textured pulse of amniotic fluid. It's totally beautiful and calming. Timely memo to the earth: you do not have to bludgeon people to be dubstep! AC Slater sounds like the type of guy you'd have over to the house for dinner! Meanwhile, Drop the Lime continues his streak of blowing our minds with his varied musical talents (see: rockabilly band), this time by singing in a clear, passionate diva man-hook. This track comes on limited-edition red vinyl through Trouble & Bass and Serato Pressings, which means every piece of vinyl includes Serato Control Tone, which means we are not sure because when we DJ we are using our Blackberry and a piece of string attached to a paper cup instead of turntables. But Serato Control Tone sounds major! Bonus: cover art by Dust La Rock, club remix by DJ Craze. (We get that part.)
