After a week of New York Fashion Week's fancy pants runway shows, the young, hustling designers at Capsule's womenswear trade show were as refreshing as the fall breeze blowing through yesterday's rooftop presentation. Things are growing cold and brown in New York, but Capsule styled and showcased Spring wares from Timo Weiland, Fifth Ave Shoe Repair, and Sophomore on a windy Tuesday morning, a nice, sunny and colorful AM jolt to complement our coffee. Timo's bright red sailor stripes and IVANAHelsinki's French flag panel dress conjured up summertime vacations, and models laying around on lounge chairs amidst some well-placed green hedges just added to the mood.
