So at the beginning of this video Tame Impala are playing in Mildura, which is a ways outside of Melbourne, Australia. It looks like a desert with nothing around for miles, which might actually be the case. The band is in the video for like two seconds before a balloon launches a camera INTO SPACE. So maybe the band just stood around after that, or went home and waited for it to come back down and left director Robert Hales to go track down the camera in the middle of nowhere, but holy shit who cares.
