We're sending a free FADER windbreaker to the first person who can identify the interview that begins this song: "We're all part of the same thing, the unity of nature, the vitality of love." We thought we could guess off of 2 Bears MySpace influences, but they listed Paddington and Bearack Obama (wokka wokka). Good one guys, you're a pair of regular Rodney Dangerfields. The band is Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell, who does the singing, and they're normally pretty good but this dub version is where they get Really Good. Now the intro's drawn out—there's that interview and some birds—and even after the bass kicks in it's another minute before the vocals start. Perfecto! It's a melancholy track, the steel drums bounce just enough and the background at 3:30 feels like the chorus at Pride Rock. These guys work crazy hard! Check out their weekly radio show on Ministry of Sound here, preview their new Curious Nature EP below (out now on iTunes), and snatch the "Church (Dub)" MP3 via XLR8R.
