First, Chris Brown makes a song. Then a lot of guys rap on a remix with him. Then Ciara shoos him away, does her own version (though taking some of his lyrics). Then California duo Nguzunguzu and Texas producer Dubbel Dutch cut their own takes of Ciara's version. Nguzunguzu's "Deuces" gives huge freedom of her vocal—the open field of acapella is so serene. Dubbel Dutch's remix is billed as a soca take, which we're not quiiiiite convinced of. It's more hyperspeed reggaeton? Who knows (probably someone with a blog and/or DJ Rupture). Feel free to enlighten us, we'll be in Ableton trying to drop Andre 3000's verse from the remix onto both of these remixes. Man that was a confusing sentence.
