Portland, OR based stylist Ryann Bosetti loves and takes pride in cutting hair. She's in agony that people are asking for haircuts that are soft and apologetic these days, and worried that we're committing a collective act of self-effacement by shying away from stranger shapes. So began F.R.E.E., "a social initiative engineered to preserve the cultural integrity of the Haircut." Ryann is offering up twenty styles (for both women and men) that she thinks are audacious and important for potential clients to choose from, and there's an email form to begin the process. If your request works out, Ryann will do your do without asking for any compensation, in honor of the trust you're expressing by offering your one and only head up for sculpting.
