Cure Thrift Shop bags loads of good samaritan kudos, as funds raised contribute towards The Diabetes Research Institute. They also happily woo with clothes, a cheerful colored jumpsuit and a sparkly maxi number hung right outside the door to entice first time shoppers. The store itself is a good mix of costume pieces and more wearable styles, which is exactly what you'd expect and want from a good East Village thrift shop.
Some of the less wearable looks were the ones that caught our eye. It'd be hard to find an occasion to rock a bejeweled maxi dress or geometric-print jumpsuit, but they're worth thinking about anyway.
