A new Tyler, The Creator track, "Tron Cat," leaked at the start of the weekend. A couple days later, it was trailed by a a cryptic message from Tyler on Twitter telling fans to download every OF release before they're taken down. We're guessing this might be a contractual obligation tied in with their new new record label deal with RED, a division of Sony.
It seems the group is establishing a more profesh internet presence with a newly minted website. But even if the industry execs are be coming down on the group, they are staying true to their stage show. At yesterday's Camden Crawl show Hodgy Beats took an epic stage jump off a ten-foot speaker, and Tyler heckled the photographers relentlessly. Guess the homesick troupe are trying hard to keep it real.
And speaking of roots, Yourstru.ly posted a nice video of Tyler, The Creator freestyling on the piano and talking about his formative years as a music nerd (anti-jock).
